Pathways

Guide Duties

Classroom Guides are a vital part of our teaching ministry at Pathways. Students move to a different classroom with a new teacher each week. Guides travel with the same group of children for six weeks in order to get to know the children and provide assistance for the workshop teachers. Guide responsibilities include:

• Helping to greet and seat children as they enter the Theater Room for Worship
• Sharing in the 10 to 15 minute worship with all Pathways participants and teachers
• Leading their assigned class to the workshop room setting
• Taking attendance in the classroom
• Assisting the teacher in the classroom as needed
• Helping with extra needs of students (taking to bathroom, helping with disruptive child, etc.)
• Collecting nametags at the end of each session

Our current Guide openings for the 20010/2011 program year are listed below. Please contact Kara Woodford if you are interested in volunteering for one of these positions.
